Seriously though.
if that GM truck had the rear lifted with tall blocks that is likely the cause of the whole failure. In a situation like that they would have WAY to much of a lever action working against the springs and the frame. You'd likely bend a Kenworth frame up if you blocked rear leaf suspension on one too high (yes I know semis are bagged - making a point).
