lowering my Uni part 2, opinions?

To start with this was originally a 292 truck which I believe is a heavier engine than the 223 I put in. The spring pack in the front of this thing looks like it's for a 3/4 ton or bigger, Very thick. Has at least 3 more leaves then the 64 the 223 came out of did in the front. I am going to pull a few of the leaves out, just wondering how many you guys think I can get away with removing? I'll probably get a pair of shackles for the rear to get it down some too. One of the reasons I am going ahead with this cheap quick route is I can't get new main leaves made right now and the truck - well - rides too much like a truck (go figure, lol). Seriously it's way too stiff even for a Slick.

I have a 63 slick with 223 engine and I just counted my spring leaves. There were 6 leaves. Hope that will help. Don
