You have a bridge to go along with the "unibody ranger thing"?

I believe those were only available on the Ranger flareside Uni's with the Camper Special package and 9 foot bed, and they MAY have been limited to the Mexican -built Mercurys with the F100XLT package.

Alan, how familar are you with Mexican drivers and passenger capacities? The location of, and even existence of, such devices is subject to local interpetation.
Paul
PS, now you've got me confused. I think it's mid-afternoon here. Are you still up from yesterday, or just getting an early start on tomorrow?

When you say Mexicans!, do you mean people from Victoria?, and as far as passenger capabilites go, they always come in handy for checking the rear view mirror in off hand driven trucks, it`s so hard to reach over and try and look out the back on your own!.
With the time zone thingo, you must be up early to post this, because I didn`t see it yesterday when I was on!.

As most of you know, all trucks sold in the Northern hemisphere were left hand drive..those down in Oz were right hand drive ..

But most people don't know that some on the Equator were sold with a center drive option.

All I can say is.......
My best friends dad older brother had one that was a prototype from from Ford. But they had to have it crushed but he kept it instead and says he will sell it at Barrett Jackson and retire.

Dear god let this thread die now............................ faint.gif

Ain't gonna happen, Brian,
Now I found out I've got a rare collection of ex-USPS route delivery vehicles.
I don't believe they had the Ranger option, but they do appear to be custom cabs!
It's amazing what you can learn on this forum!

Something I've been meaning to ask of our rather southern brethren, from down under. Since your on the bottom side of the world, does that mean you set under the truck on the frame to drive?
