Post by donald luster »

I took all my rims to sandblaster yesterday and had them cleaned and will drip them off at powder coater for a good old timey red Now if I can save enought money for the white wall tires and the chrome lug nuts with trim rims. Hope to do the wheel cylinders and replace the master cyl with dual ???68 mustang. Is that the correct one?? I will this fall install disc brakes on front. Thanks for listening Don

Mr Donald
Red & chrome should be a nice combo.

You might have to shorten the push rod on the 68 master cyl. Not sure on the mustang one but I had to on the 70s truck one I used
It seems that I read somewhere that theres a diffrence between drum and disc brake master cyls. You might want to check that out.

I see your in north central Arkansas. I try to get over that way every year or two to do some trout fishing.
Like to hang out around the Calico rock or Heber springs area

Drum brakes MUST use drum brake master cyl. Same rule applies for disc brakes.

If you'd like to check a red rim with the chrome trim - check my gallery.....

I'm thinking of getting the red changed over to white & running dog dish caps on the Uni.
