Slick 60's

I`m not bringing mine this year!, again! , so we`ll see you there lo6fo!

We will go to a cruise night, but no trophys. Just, steal ideas... I mean look at all the cars and trucks and have a good time. Slick Stock is more like a family reunion or being with friends (some of them you haven't met before). Hard to explain, you just need to come and have a good time. Alan never brings his truck... LOL

if you are crunched for time, drive down after work on friday. lets say you arrive about ten or 11 at night; you'll still have a few hours with the second shift beer drinking crew before the nights over. then you'll have all day sat to hang out and meet the rest of the folks before heading off on sat evening or sunday morning. a perfect long weekend. sunday is really just a pack it up and say good bye type day. it's kinda sad really.

Wow, So much for the "Good things come to those who wait theory" Sheraton said they had sold out the Slick Stock block, but had some other rooms available at $89.00. Then when I told her I needed Wednesday also, she said Wednesday would be $129.00. So it's off to use up one of my freebies elsewhere, and see ya'll on Thursday.

If anybody's keeping track, you can add one more truck. Wife and I will stop-over in St. Louis the 16th, and should be there by lunch on the 17th. Now, if gas prices would just start coming down.....
