New Guy Here (66 Crew Pictures Added)

Post by Julian Mule »

Hello, since I finally got one of these, I finally joined instead of lurking. I just purchased a '66 Crew F-250 2WD 352/4-spd project truck. I'll be picking it up in a few weeks. So I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of questions as I slowly work on it. I'm a confessed Ford nut... Pop made me that way :D I have several other Fords at the moment:
1963 Galaxie 500 2dr boxtop 428/toploader (Dad got it for me when I was twelve) and 1963 Galaxie 500XL boxtop 352/a/t and a parts car
1970 F600 Stakebed 390/5-spd
1977 F250 Supercab longbed 2WD 7.5/C6 (dying of cab cancer)
1983 F250 Std Cab longbed 4wd 532ci/4-spd
2001 Excursion 4WD 7.3 Stroke

Look forward to sharing the love of these cool trucks that are pieces of great Ford history.

First thing I'm going to have to do is figure out what bed will go on my truck. It currently has a Chevy Apache bed on it

:welcome: fellow crew cab owner. :) I look foward to seeing your progress on your build. I did reply to your PM and I am 99% sure the factory short bed will work. But like I said in the PM I won't be 100% until I put my bed on the truck. :)

Welcome from TN. Are you going to leave the chev bed?

If restoring a ford was easy, chevy guys could do it.
