Well I think I have been officially screwed by the guy building my axle as is no longer answering my phone calls. We did buy the house so that has been time consuming but I need an axle badly. I will have to check out Jack's if I can slip away from the house, my gf, and her mother lol.

Yeah I know, I tend to be too trusting and keep to my word to where if I tell someone i am going to do something, then I will make it happen. Unfortunately, not everyone is so trustworthy lol.

Sorry to hear that about the axle. Maybe ck Jack's, see what he wants for the axle. f-150 is already jacked up in rear. Need air power to get out. Maybe unbolt the springs and pull out back of truck with floor jack. Alot of hard work. Good luck and like your truck build. Tony :(

Well I am back from the bayou and glad to be out of that heat and humidity lol, it was pretty rough there for awhile. While there, I did manage to buy a new windshield from a glass distributor (apparently they are hard to get by me for some reason) and I got my shifter for the trans: 32" double bend lokar 8) . A little miracle also happened: after six months, the guy who was supposed to build my axle sent me a picture of it finally done lol....or at least the housing is lol. He's gonna finish my stack for me and I should hopefully get it by the weekend finally. Maybe this can get somewhere again lol...if the honey-do lists slow down for the new house ha.

Just sold my other 66 I had bought for parts. He let me keep all of the interior parts that I wanted as he bought it for the body panels, so I got to keep the mustang seats, falcon console, door inserts, dash trim, etc :D . He also paid for the cost of the truck and then some so I forsee a driveshaft, bed metal, and some narrow axle shafts in my future

Yeah its a dana 70. It had to be shortened to fit right. Getting electric in my garage tomorrow as the bank passed the final inspection for the house woot! Then I can finally finish getting organized and get some work done!

Well the woman has given me till May before I have to work on the house again so I have been getting stuff done. The new Axle is almost in, just a couple more measurements to pull. Motor, trans, and front suspension are about in as well. From there, I am going to run the exhaust before mounting the cab again. The bed is on the trailer ready to roll over to the new house as well. I am also buying new doors as mine aren't in that great of shape. I need a driver side custom cab door that's also rust free and straight as well. My buddy will have time and room in February to get it into paint so its time to hustle lol. I did just buy a new plasma cutter as well so that should help out with the bed :).
