It's looking good. It never ceases to amaze me what a new set of nice wheels does to the appearance of almost any vehicle.

Nice! What size wheels and tires did you end up with? I want to do the same to my '66

Scotty, the truck looks great! I really like the Americans on there.
Sorry to hear you have had so many problems engine wise.
At least you got a lot of "Goodies" with the one out of the dentside.
Was that a replacement hood for it I saw in one of those pics? TR

Wow, awesome job! Can't wait to see the updates as it goes along.

Summit sells wire protectors that really clean up the harness under the hood. I used it when I gave my Slick a facelift over the winter and it turned out great. I got it in 1/2" and 1/4"

Nice lookin truck! What's the size of the tires and wheels you put on it? And are the rear tires wider than the front?

Thanks fellas! The fronts are a 15x7 with a 225/70/r15. Rears are a 15.8.5 with a 255/70/r15. Not sure of the offset because I never specified it when I ordered them. I got lucky becuase my buddy had just ordered a set for his truck, so I already knew that they would fit just right. Now I just need to get it lowered some to really make it look right.

G4B: I'm likin' it!!
I expect you already know this, but if your motor is a roller motor, you need a dizzy with a steel gear on the bottom, as the steel roller cam will tear up a bronze or cast iron one in short order.......AND I see you have v belts, so again, late engines with serpentine drive use reverse rotation water pumps, so when you switch back to v belts you need to use an earlier style water pump.
If'n you knew all this, then all is well.....if not, hopefully it's in time to remedy the situation before bigger problem arise......
