Headliner Trouble

Any tips on contouring Denis Carpenters headliners before i bust this thing? It says in the instructions to moisten it with a water bottle before attempting it, but how much water is to much before destroying or staining it?

I heard the best way was sit it out in the sun at 100 degree heat and 90 percent humidity and it molds well. Good luck in our neck of the woods though

spray it from the back side it may take several times to get it to bend / bow correctly be patient. You might spray it and use a blow dryer for a little heat at the same time all on the back side. :2cents:

I sometimes steal my wifes steam iron when bending luan door skins or poster board type materials. Slow and carefull is the way to go. Place a piece of clean cloth between the iron, and the area you are trying to mold, so as not to ruin the Iron, or transfer rust to the headliner if you go with an older iron
