Wagon wheels or Eagle Alloys?

The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

Wagon wheels or Eagle Alloys?

Post by Kellxr7 »

When I purchased my slick it sported (& still does) a set of eagle alloys and seeing as the truck is far from a show truck these rims look a little over the top (and now outdated, imho they are better suited for a mid 90s chevy 1500) I was thinking of replacing them with a set of old wagon wheels from my donor truck that I can clean up and rattle can. Not sure what to do.

or go back to basics Image

...what I really want are these :D , but I cant afford to put money into the slick right now...

anybody with pics of slicks with the wagon wheels?

Personal opinion OK! If it ain't broke don't fix it. I'd sell the fancy wheels and the wagon wheels and buy what you really want. PFM, That CC is really pretty!

I agree, neither types of wheel is what you want. Take a little more time and get what you want.

My fist Slick had white wagon wheels - I actually never thought of changing them on it.
I have only had one other truck since with them (it was a 73 Chevy) and I bought a new set for it.
I might run them again if I was doing a driver they suited.

I'm not crazy about the color, but it is indeed a beautiful truck.
