I'm rewiring my '63 with an ez-wire 12 circuit. I'm stuck on the headlight switch poles. There are 7 of then, but i'm not 100% sure which one is which. The only diagram I found here is for an 8 pole switch. Can someone please solve this conundrum?
Much thanks,
Tim

Re: 63 headlight switch wiring
I have the same switch, and from my 63 harness i was able to figure out which one was which, I think.
with the knob facing you the poles are
- Battery
/Parking lights
|Tail Lights _
|Headlights Stop Lights Power
\Dash Lights | Dome light
Hopefully that makes sense. And i mayyyy be wrong but i am about to do the EZ harness to and thats what i found them to be after staring at my wiring diagram for a while

Re: 63 headlight switch wiring
Thank you sir! That is pretty much in line with what I had so far, but there is one more pole on the right side behind the dome light pole, facing this way -, with both a black wire and a red wire connected to it. Everything was torn apart when I picked the truck up, so I have no way to trace them.

Re: 63 headlight switch wiring
I think the Diagram i sent got messed up. The switch i have has a pin above the dome light pin that is used as the stop light power. The bit i put on that first diagram moved a bit. Or is there another one i am missing?
