Gas is too high and my daughter is a poor college student.

Her 64 Slick has a 302/AOD combo, but it is only driven around town so she doesn't spend much time in overdrive. It has a good Holley 1850 (600 vacuum secondary). I haven't measured the gas mileage on it, but I can tell that it ain't very good. I have a fresh Motorcraft 2150 in the shelf with the 1.08 venturi size. It is rated at 287 cfm.

Anyone used this carb on a smal block to improve gas mileage?

I changed over to the 2150 after a rebuild and MAN, what a nice running truck it is now. BIG improvement.

Sully hunt down a factory EFI setup for her truck . My 88 crownvic donor was rated at 15 city and 22 highway . I figure my truck weighs less than the vic boat I am pulling off the frame so I should get even better milage .
