if you use photobucket you can resize any upload so it does it in one swoop. other wise you have to upload to photobucket, then resize individual photos. I think it's in the settings option.
I like the 64-66 bed my self.

I voted "wrong". Photoshop (or someone to do it for you) your truck in a dark blue or black and and see what you think.

Re: 63 wrong bed Southern Utah area
well the plan is already for a blue truck so I'll have to get it photoshopped and see if that'll work for me. I appreciate the vote!
Re: 63 wrong bed Southern Utah area
I voted for the wrong too. If it were me I would look around for the running gear from a 61-64 F100 4wd if you can find it and convert it to a short wb 4x4. I guess Im kind of partial to the 4wd drive trucks. Not many swb 4x4s from 61-64 if any at all were ever made.

Re: 63 wrong bed Southern Utah area
well, I don't have the running gear from that year available. But I have round up a dana 60 front axle, transfer case, and 4 speed tranny from various old fords... I would love a 4 wheel drive, I think It will be a while before that happens though.

Re: 63 wrong bed Southern Utah area
I voted to keep the wrong bed. Ive got one on mine, the look grows on ya. My only gripe is the single wall bed means that if you dent the bed walls throwing something back there or if something slides around and dents the wall it will show on the out side of the bed as a bulge. I plan on finding a way to add an inner wall eventually.

Hey all, spent a little time yesterday and got my spare bumper stripped and primed. I figured it wouldn't hurt to have a spare haha.

Re: 63 wrong bed Southern Utah area
well you can see the next slick in the back ground, It's a 61 unibody. Not much left of it though haha. Although, maybe.... Oh great now I'm thinking again
Re: 63 wrong bed Southern Utah area
big news, trucks finally at my house! now the work can speed up a bit!

dunno how well this shows up, but do you notice that dent? yeah, it was hidden in 1/2 inch of bondo, guess I'm gonna need to search for the rest of that garbage and get it off...
needs a bit of work.
got a question with this, do I leave it in primer until I get around to painting it or what? anything I should do to keep rust from starting?

Re: 63 wrong bed Southern Utah area
Depends on what primer and the humidity in your area. A normal primer will absorb water and will start to rust under the primer. You wont see it until a few years after you paint and it starts flaking off. I would use a good epoxy primer. They will seal it up and better protect it.
If you have very low humidity like AZ or even KS this year, you don't need to worry. Any primer will do. I have bare steel welds that have been un-primed for over a year now and no rust. But I don't think we had any rain this year....at least that's what my lawn looks like.

stripped the fender
who knew?! rust hole hiding under old paint
primed it so it wasn't bare metal for weeks
bottom painted will keep top in primer
rust = bad
