Ain't no place too nice for Slick 60's. We need the easterners at Slcik Stock! The Platte County tourism folks have been a real help in getting the hotel and the folks at the hotel are excited for us to be there. There is a meeting room on the 11th floor with a view of the parking lot that the manager of the hotel said, "We need to get a photo of all your trucks parked together from here." I think we are going to have a blast in '08. I just hope we in Kansas City can come close to what happened in '04 & '06.

Hopefully I will be able to make it. I think I am on the right path to getting to SS08... I am one number 1 (Dakota) and my list is 4 items long. Hopefully this hotel won’t fill up by the time I am ready to make my reservations if it does I will sleep in my truck won’t be the first nor the last time. Hell I could always pitch a tent in the bed of the truck.

If they're building custom crap all over t.v. in 8 days, then surely I can finish mine in a year... I'm trying like hell anyway.
But regardless if I drive my own, ride in another or outright fly into KC - I'll be there fur shure and don't want to miss this one!

I heard the same on the day you posted the info., but I wasn't worried. They said they have plenty of rooms and definitely knew about us. Just said their computers couldn't keep up that far, that's all.

My dad and I might try to make the trip to SS08. My mom lives about an hour and a half from KCMO so We'd probably just stay at or near her place and drive up to visit with you guys for a day or two. I'd stay at the hotel with everyone, but I'm going to be strapped for hotel money as I'll be off another trip just two weeks before SS08.
