I am slipping deeper into my addiction.........HELP

Post by ras4434 »

My name is Ross and I am addicted..............that didnt help. Looks like I am going to get a 1963 f100 4x4 with less than 100,000 original miles. I should be able to finalize the deal in the next week or so, but where am I going to put it. It comes with a running 1962 parts rig. Even my typical practice of parking one or two down the block wont work. Already looks like a slick parking lot now. Lets see, one in the driveway, one down the block. The neighbor has a 62 Uni, the 65 is at my buddies wrecking yard parking lot and the 65 parts rig is actually in the wrecking yard. This will add two more to the herd..................HELP..............If I can bring myself to do it I might have to sell something after these get here. I think this one should be the best of the bunch and sounds great. The current owner is the third, original owner is a relative and this guy got it from his father who is the second owner........original paper work from the dealer. Oh the stress of it all.

Well I'll be out your way shortly, I'll drive one back east LOL. I know what you mean about thinning the herd. I've got 2 slicks, a dentside and 2 newer ones not to mention a 66 stang.

Why only a few days JC?

Sounds to me like he needs a section of land and a nice big shop to put them in. In my case, the brother has 3 that I have picked up, I have 2 at home and hope to look at a couple more this next week. That excludes my other vehicles.

That's about all i figure he could take until he is broke in.
However an indefinite lease-to-buy can be arranged.

Yes unibody, it is on craigslist. I hope it works out because it is just what the "doctor ordered" and with what I now have I should not need any more....................oh no what did I just say????????????????. I need to go sit down, I dont feel so good. Actually I need to figure how I can get out to the truck and drive it and the parts rig back. Something to ponder over the next few days.

I actually passed on that one, but it was very tempting indeed!

Unibodyboy: Why did you pass on the truck. It might be good for me to know if there was anything that I missed. Was it price or an issue with the truck?

Although it did look like it had some rust, it looked pretty solid.

But the real reason is that I am in the all incompassing not enough room boat:)

It's hard to go to college and have hot rods and projects laying around!!
