Slick 60's

Went to the Auto Show in Chicago yesterday, and they had a pictorial display of images and ads from past auto shows. They had a board for the year 1963, and it had a picture of a 4x4 in the ford booth. Kinda different, as I've not seen a truck with the front end painted as shown.


Kid is going to post it in this thread for me, since I don't have a photobucket account yet, and am doing this from work.

I was just looking at the Auto Show site, and they have a history tab. Some pretty cool pics. The one in this thread is in the 1963 photos. There's a cool pic of the Econoline pickups in the 1961 photos.

Thanks for the link and the pic. Yes it was an interesting paint scheme on the front end of that 4wd slick. Looked to be a 3/4 ton but cant tell if it is a CC or not. I think on mine Ill stick with the one color for whole truck that mine was painted. That would be M for Corinthian white.
