I am using it for my driver almost everyday, but plan on making it a bit more 'pretty' next fall
Going to put on the fenders off a F600 on the front, need to put about a 1 1/2" lift on the rear
I re-arched the front leafs & it sits a bit low in back
Probably a bit of body work and a farm shop paint job
It is an F250 that I shortened, those tires are 37" military tires ( mega tire cheap )
With the low gearing , the 223 is happy at 55 mph

Slick, looks like you could have some serious fun in that truck. The pic of it coming up the hill reminds me of an old 4x4 magazine ad.

About ten years ago I adopted an old dog named Sam.(free from the local pound) He loved to ride in my '89 F150. The truck was a rotted out POS. I explained to my wife that the truck had seen better days and should be replaced ,if not for my safety but for Sam's.
Surprisingly she agreed.(she loved Sam and was concerned for HIS safety.) After a long search I found Sam a truck. It was a '66 F100 in decent shape. Sam and I enjoyed his new truck for a few years until I had to put him down. I now have a new dog named Sheba(free from the local pound) who also loves to ride in the truck. So when time and weather permit I take Sheba for a ride in Sam's truck.
There is nothing like a good dog and a good truck.
