I am wanting to put some back up lights on my 65. Will 67 taillight housings and lenses fit in my 65? This would allow a clean looking taillight setup.
Thanks,
Mark.

Taillight question
If you drive a Chevy, you better have a Good Wrench and even the name Dodge, tells you to avoid it!

You need to run a wire to run it, but it's a direct replacement.

I went back to pull-a-part and got a decent pair of complete 68 taillight assemblies for about $16.00. Sure enough, they match up exact. In fact, the metal "buckets" (for lack of the correct term) from the 68 look like just like my 66 ones, except they were cut and the backup light part riveted on to them. If that makes sense.
I plan on swapping to a 73-77 power steering 3 speed column shift so I can get power steering. I think when I do that I'll get the right switch, run the wires and get backup lights.

Alas... No backup lights for Unis, guess I will have to be satisfied with blue dots.
