Yeah the hoods was rusted threw in the.front so i threw that one on. sux cause the other was white

Thanx for the coments guys i have some questions now if its not to soon to ask. what will cause a thunking noise under the truck and you can feel it slightly holding the steering wheel. iv never had a staight axel truck bfore. would it be king pins the thunk picks up with the speed of the truck

Welcome from West Virginia!! King pins will normally just fold when you go around a curve.(my king pins are shot in my '63) Not so much a "thunking" noise. Check the tires for bulged or flat spots. After that I would pull a drum, make sure everything is still in there and tight.

I have a 1963 Step Side... Been working on for two years, Motor is scheduled to go in this weekend, The only thing left is to bolt up the rest of the front end.....Yeah! It's been a long two years, but worth it!
