Here is another group of photos. I have power now and everything works so far. Nothing like listening to classic country on a 1 speaker AM radio. Can't wait for the farm report. Now if Paul Harvey wasn't dead and I could hear him on the radio, I would think I was 20 again. :D Spotlight works, glove box door fits just like it came from the factory. Found an NOS lighter to replace the John Deere lighter that was in it. Looks a little better I think. Both lighters work, Heater blows high and low after I wired it wrong first and it was low on high and high on low, easy fix. Wiper motor works and parks like it should All dash lights work when I ground them and dim like supposed to. Turn signal bulbs come on solid as no lights installed yet. Molded carpet came today, decided to do the carpet instead of rubber mat. I am really starting to have fun now. :D :D :D :D :D :D

More than likely not. I think I will stay pretty close to Billings with it this summer and shake the bugs out of it if there are any.

Started up the motor on Saturday. decided to do so as we did not want to be hanging over the fenders while we are setting the hot lash on the valves. It took a while but got it going. Here is a link to the video we took.

27F series battery installed which I am told was not available in 64 but the hold down bracket fits it and in the original owners manual it is written that it was ordered with a 27F series battery
Image
Figured out a way to use the original throttle linkage by drilling a 1/16th hole through the adjustment doohickey and putting in a cotter key. Can go back to stock carb simply by using the original clip style Ford used.Image
My son painted the handle and messed up on the B and R. We need to get a very small brush and paint inside black to fix my error. I can't complain because I can't see that tiny to even try to paint it.Image

Emergency brake cable cleaned and installed

Door almost ready to hang. Weather stripping glued on and glass in.

I decided to put some grip tape down on the thresholds to protect from scuffs. I also discovered that the dates on some of the pictures are incorrect. I need to fix my camera I guess. Carpet is installed seat is installed windshield is in and I am working on the headliner. I will get pictures of more of the progress today. I wish I would have taken a pic of the bare seat frame. I went a little overboard and had it sandblasted and powder coated black.

New wheels and tires put on last week. Progress has been slowed somewhat due to Hail and repairs and having to roof 2 houses a shed a shop 2 garages and build a shed. Oh well, things will slow down and work will resume.
