65 styleside, That is what I needed to see. The Mark VIII doesn't look like it will be too hard to install, just a lot of time and some fabrication work.
I think that the back sits about right but I agree that maybe the front is just a bit high. Maybe it will settle down in time.
I think that I might lean towards the Jag front and the Mark VIII rear providing that Nick will aprove it.

It really was an easy swap. All in all, I probably have 8 hrs in the rear.

Zip out the driveshaft, the shocks, four cradle bolts, two brake lines and the parking brake cable and its out of the mark.

When I get back to town I will get all the final measurements off the frame and for the plates and post em.

Maybe that can save someone else all the put it in, drop it down, lift it up, pull it out, repeats that I had.

The jag front was a little more work.

65 and 66 have the taller frames and the steering column is higher.

its not as cut and dry as earlier models like in Matt's swap thread.

But with some extra ujoints and an idler it can be hooked up.

'65 styleside,

Did you ever by chance get those measurements for the plates? I know this is bumping an old thread, but if I could do this and save myself the $400 I would rather do my own fab. worship.gif
