Okla)(homa stoms.........Gary (Truckrat)

Post by Greg D »

Gary wanted me to let everyone know they are OK.
I texted him last night, he has no power and can't get online.

Well I guess that makes me X5 . People ask me all the time Why I would want to move back to Fla and deal with the Hurricanes . I tell them you usually have at least a weeks warning with one of them to pack your stuff and get it out of the way . The Nado's up here though if your lucky you have enough time to get you and your familly to the basement before your house " and your stuff " dissapear .

Just got a text from TruckRat.
Still off the grid but everyone in his family and neighborhood are OK. Said to tell everyone thanks for the good wishes and prayers.
I'm sure we'll be hearing from him as soon as he can get back on the computer, but all is well in Okla)(homa on his end. 8)

rick, i heard this statement in a conversation once. (paraphrased. lol). there were only two hurricanes in florida last year and everyone felt them, there were over two hundred tornadoes in kansas that year and only a few dozen people felt them.
that being said, i will take the tornado odds over the hurricane odds. lol
