Engine Swap

I just bought a 66' f100 from an old man yesterday. The body is in great shape with no rust or major dents. the only problem is that the engine locked up years ago. So i think i will replace the 352, with the 352 out of my old beater 66' f-250.

Will the engine need any modification for beeing swaped from a manuel transmission to a automatic?

and when swaping engines is there anything else to consider even though it is the same engine type?

other than putting the Flexplate on in place of the flywheel it should be an easy swap.

Take the pilot bushing out of the crank or the torque convertor wont go all the way in. Jeff
