Leeroy's 66 build.... long way to go!

To keep the ex-owner and a fellow forum member happy (ALAN MCLENNAN!!!) I'm starting this thread..... There isn't too much to report yet, but I'll post as it all happens.
Bought the 66 slick from Alan early January (Same day as my son was born, cant forget that date now!)
Aside from the engine, it's a pretty original 66,
Specs are a 351C, NP435 4 speed and a 9".
At my request, Alan kept the visor!
Had the bed bead blasted and most of the trouble spots. As expected a few rust spots in the bonnet lip and in the bed. Looks to have had a decent dent repair on the drivers side that will be repaired properly.
Roof and cab mounts are great. Couple of spots in the usual floor area against the kick panel and about 4" of the bed.
A kind forum member from Canada sent over some bed repair patches (Thanks Ken, castruck_1964!) and I have sourced some bonnet patches and also a radio repair section!
As usual, bonnet springs are stuffed.
I am in 2 minds as to go for the bronco bed repair patches, or try and repair the existing sheetmetal. I will wait for the panelbeaters advice before I do any more. If anyone has any experience using the bronco bed repair pieces, I'd be interested to hear!
Rear bumper in the box, amongst most of the custom cab chrome I have managed to source (Door trims and all )
Yes thats also a huge slab of douglas fir timber!
original rechromed bumper all for later once it's repainted. Will need some aligning. It isn't perfect but better than LMC's....
This 78 front end has now been installed, with new ibeam and radius rod bushings, new shocks, brake pads, brake lines, booster and master cylinder! bye bye single pot brakes!
Story for later, is the retrieval of this front end..... One bogged ute and 460 bronco to tow me out.....
Looking pretty sorry for itself, awaiting the painter to come and get it. More to follow......
