I like pretty much anything with a motor and wheels. I can see tractors as a part of my future collection.

A friend of mine has a nice 1958 Porsche Diesel Jr. He's a Porsche, mostly the cars, guy. It'll do wheelies. He'll use it as a "pit tractor" to get around when he goes to races at Road Atlanta. He's even towed a car to the starting lane.

I have a Farmall M wide front with a F11 loader I use every 3-4 days, and a Farmall H narrow front with 3 point power up and down for snow removal and grading the driveway. I also have a 3 point log splitter for the H.

I've always been a tractor fan, especially the older one, like 30' 40's?
and have thought about taking on one as
a restoration project but didn't have the room
and
every time I thought more about it, :?

it would bring back memories of me on a 60's model John Deer 4010 plowing up the wheat field,
going around and around a 1 mile x 1 mile section!

first day you could get around 1 time!

and no climate controlled cab with cassette player

That's why I haven't replied....
For me... Being a fan of a tractor
Is like being a construction worker being a fan of a jackhammer

Though I do like the vintage iron

The tractors being built today a whole nother story.....
More technology than a moon rocket
No one can work on one without a computer
They cost up to $300,000

Ain't nobody gonna restore them 50 years from now :cussing:

I am!!! Or should I say we are!!

I have a Ford 9n and a 2110lcg (3 cylinder gas, not the newer sub-compact model)

My Dad has a Ford 7000 high crop, Ford 500 hi crop, ford 600, John Deere 40, A international commercial, and three cub low boys (154)..

My brother has a John Deere 530 currently being restored..

My boy has a '62 chief..

I left out the sub compacts, the lawn tractors and the machinery.

I like tractors..

MY TRACTORS NOT BEAT, IT'S EXPERIENCED!!

As Steve said, I'm a big garden tractor collector. I mainly collect Bush Hog garden tractors. Not the mowers that you tow behind, but the actual GTs.

Currently I own 7 Bush Hogs, a Cub Cadet 86, a Penn Panzer, Case 444, Case 224.

Then there's the old snowblowers...but that's a different story.

I've had a few Deere's. Most of these are gone and replaced with others.

Still have 4 that I use regularly.

Heck yeah
I have been known to do some rigging from time to time, but I recently moved some shipping containers on my property from where they were delivered, that would not have been possible, without my TYM and Cub Cadet tractors. Not your midsize or larger farm tractors but they did yoemens work. Here is a link to the progress.

Now I have to finish grading

Well ezer, my dad taught me how to rig using block and tackle so Its not to hard.

Not to mention... when the roof covers both containers, my slicks will have 56' x20' covered feet of playroom...so,not so much like work.
