Thanks for the help, seems my F100 did in fact come with a 352 in '66! I have been told by several people that I have a 390 but my engine tag claims a 352. Is it possible to determine the difference visually? Ignorance is not bliss!
Thanks,
James

Not externally visually, but you can remove the spark plug on #1 with the cyl @ TDC Position insert a rod or dowel, mark a point on it, say the plug's gasket seat.
Next rotate the crank 180* and re-mark at the same reference spot while crank is at BDC.
Then measure distance between high & Low marks to determine actual engine stroke. From that you will be able to determine the CID of the engine.
Oh BTW, Welcome to our Slick 60's site, & the Truck Talk Forum, James
