If it has anything to do with a slick60's truck i wanna see it.. while I wouldnt build anything like that and prolly couldnt, thats my opinion, when i post what im doing to my truck there is always someone telling me i didnt do something right or whatever, but im not gonna blow a gasket cause someone said something negitive about my truck.. anyway i think the truck is pretty cool kind of george barris like.. but dont get all offended over peoples opinions.. sorry if we offended you and the owner, it was not my intention..
No offense taken.
I enjoy looking at your posts, you've posted some sweat rides.
If my only comment is negative, I won't leave one. If I can help or offer advise, then I will.

And Alan,
as for the comment no one from here came to "My" show is not what I said. This show, if you will, was to educate the students on custom builds. Teaching them to think outside the box, and I think I achieved that.
My comment was "Guess what, not one member from Slick 60's responded."
I posted here but no one responded, not negatively nor positively, nothing NO response.

I don't teach hate, I don't look at forums as tho there is one superior to the other. I would not want to teach that kind of mentality to students. I encouraged the students to research the net, there is good information all around.

As for your last comment Alan "but the truck looks like it belongs to The Moscow Circus........." Really? Had to throw jab after the bell huh?... It's all good.

At the end of the day, it was all about the students. They were very happy to see the different trucks and styles.
They were all excited, and wanted to do this again.

Chico, you did say an event I`m putting together, and it was a closing statement of what I felt about the truck nothing more!.

Mr. Chico,

It did sound like you were upset that no Slick 60s jumped at the chance to attend your event. You yourself said so. I've done similar events in my area, would I expect you to come to it? No. It's too far to travel.

Your friend has skills but I personally don't like this type of build. I can admire the skill to do the work but I don't have to like it. I also don't like slammed air bag trucks, big wheels with rubberband tires, off brand engines in Fords or rat rods. That's my right. I build what I like and can accept that others may not like my truck, and that's fine with me.

You've made very few posts here and all seem to end in some sort of anger, claiming there is no anger. This site has been fun for years, with people able to express their view without being attacked, let's keep it that way. I've never responded to a post on this site in this manor, nor never felt the need to but you brought it out in me.

Relax, enjoy the hobby and please, please stop taking everything so personally.

Mo opinion, nobody else represented by my remarks.

Steve

There is a difference between "making fun of" and "cutting down"
But sometimes it's very hard to tell the difference , in the typed word
At SlickStock there is a lot of "ribbing" among members
A lot of us carry it on to this website
We understand each other, and feelings don't get hurt
Without meeting people ,who comment on a trucks build.....
Very easy to get upset about what they are saying

That said..... I don't care how immaculate a truck is built
You paint it bright orange with purple polka-dots with pink fur seats....
I'm going to poke fun of it

You don't like my opinion ? .... Don't pat attention to it

Ton of work, very well executed.
A little too much for me for a custom truck.
But still pretty cool.
You want traditional - you have a whole lot of it right there.
