1978 for Van and Truck tilt. They are actually almost identical but the van column is longer. I buy van colums to fix broken truck ones. The reason there are no listings for 61-64 columns is the factory steering box has a one piece steering box and shaft and the column slides over it. In order to put a different column in you have to either change the steering box or cut off the shaft and weld a coupler on. Because of this there are no direct bolt on columns. Hawkrod
If you want a tilt steering, usually, most folks are looking for a lot of other goodies as well, like IFS, PS etc.
That entails reworking the whole front end. If you want it, then I guess its worth the trouble.
Not a lot of people swapping in a tilt steering alone, so I think Hawkrods input may be your best.
Try searching for power steering upgrades and see what is done in 61-64. From there, you can get an idea what sort of other boxes can be swapped in, and how much work that might be.

I have an 88 F250 tilt installed in "Christine" . Look in my album there are pictures.
I shortened the collum, Cut and machined the shaft to accept the collums double D slip over shaft and pinned it withthe stock ford 88 bolt.
Used A FE C1AE rod for a collum hanger.
Have 12K so far on the truck in the year since built.
