Good one!
Does anyone know what the logic was with the original crossover exhaust? It definitely doesn't rank up there with one of Ford's 'better ideas', from my vantage point.

If it starts to rain, they'll tax the splash.
If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

You could probably say that of all single exhaust V/8s. It was a carry over from the flathead one that crossed over in front of the oil pan. To make it worse, the stock version has a heat riser in there, just to restrict the exhaust even more
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..
