Wow & a lot of 'em too! Great looking project truck you've got there! :thumright:

Looks like your F100 has a Dana 60 under it too, same with my kid's F100. Is the engine & rear end original to the truck? Just thinking it's odd to have a Dana behind a 6-banger.

all the numbers i have checked seem to indicate that the motor and tranny and rear are all origial. i bought this truck on Ebay last october from a guy in northern califorina. he said he was the 3rd owner. the first owner had the truck for about a year and a half. the second guy had it for 30 some years. last guy had it for a few years. when i got it, everything looked original, even the wiring under the dash and motor compartment.

been working on the truck since march, its going to be my daily driver/work truck. im opening my own painting business. i plan to put my business name on the side and hopefully it will bring in, lots and lots of work since both my credit cards are MAXED!!!!

Walt your truck looks really good and it looks like it was the first project done in your shop. (clead floor) Slicks seem to have a way of maxing out credit cards. Your work looks top rate, it should bring you pleanty of business. Mine has brought some in for me. I guess it's paying me back. I almost forgot welcome to the group.

comet, thanks a lot
i had the paint matched to orignial wilbington white.
i used a single stage paint, acrilic ennamle. i think it was wilbington white, i matched it to the frount grill and re-painted the dash and grill and bumpers and wheels.
thanks again
p.s. coment, we used to live for 4 years in Kirkland. LOVED seattle.

hi alan, thanks
sry alan it was in the middle of march when i pulled it into the garage and started ripping it down. i was unempolyed, and had plenty of time on my hands. so i was there everyday and a lot of nights besides i only had the garage for 4-5 months to work with. had to get out for new tennants and cost. still lots to do.
