Well that just blew me away John.... I went to visit the website and have a look around. I know they make them for slicks obviously because of yours, but in the background of the main page is..... MY slick! They must have made it some time ago!
The old girl looks alright! Pity it doesn't look that good right now!

Well it's a lot more modern than anything we've all got!
You want to keep it efi and the auto ? Or throw a carb on it?
Would be a lot of work to wire up, but would be great for reliability and daily use

Not a roll pan but a step bumper. On top is a near perfect tailgate from a early 70s truck. Underneath was a pair of gaurds. Needs a bit of work but hey you did see the truck I started with lol. Chasing a radiator support now was thinking custom one as mine is way too far gone but if I can find one for the right price it might save some time?

Progress! Lucky you.....
Custom is an option I guess but it depends how quickly you want your truck?
With the repo's around might be a lot easier just to replace? They are quite spendy over this side of the pond tho....
Out of interest, where did you find the bed?

Have been trawling the internet ebay, gumtree everywhere like a crazy man knowing how hard they are to find. Anyway long story short did a google image search and found a picture of it. Went through to the site and it was on ebay but none of the searches on ebay would find it for some reason. It had a price and I emailed the bloke to see if he had a buy it now, and went back to have another look at the pictures. That's when I realised the price on it was a buy it now so I hit buy. Anyway it was in Alexandra so drove over that week and grabbed it. He was a great bloke and showed me round his 64 it came off. He put a stepside on his. He threw in that bumper which was really nice and I bought a pair of spare guards he had from his build. I have made some small progress on the truck and I'll post some pictures soon.
