im really down about not getting to go

guys i really was hoping to go this year, but it just wouldnt feel right if i went without my truck... I know i dont have to have my truck to be there but my truck is what started my hobby. but rest assured i will be at slickstock 2016... come hell or highwater my 65 will be on the road by then if not sooner! i hope yall have fun, and take lots of pictures of the trucks! people, not so much... lol

Just think of all the different trucks/features you could see at Slick Stock. You might see something you want to add to your truck or not. It is still worth going even if you don't have your truck. It does refresh your drive to get the truck ready for the next SS.

You can see trucks everywhere, Joe, but seldom will you encounter such a group of people! I'm not bringing my truck(s), and yet ain't about to miss it!

3rd time for me with no truck.
does not bother me in the slightest bit.
plenty of others with no truck too
all of us have a great time.

I, like you, will have my truck in the garage while SS is going on. This will be the second one I have attended without a truck. Come on up, you'll enjoy it and learn from others. I'm hoping the whole event re-energizes me to get some stuff done on mine that I've been putting off. Usually the most work you will do to your truck is the month before and the month after SS!

I'm guessing you've gone to car shows before without your truck so what is different here. You get to meet a lot of great people that you know through this site. Just get your self to Altoona and enjoy your self.
