Well it`s 10:40 am Sunday and we are preparing to leave our Hotel for the last time and fill in the day somehow, we need to be at the airport by atleast 7 pm and the car has to be back by 6 pm, our flight back to the future takes off at 9:50 pm and I`m not looking forward to the next 31hrs of travel to get home, but hey it`s worth it !, the weath at home it forcast to be 19c ( 70 f ) and rain....I haven`t missed that winter weather at all ! :D
We have again had a great trip and thank all those who we have spent time with to make it so memorable.....Robbin and Darrell have again put on a fantastic event and I`m sure Colleen and Bluey will also do the same.

Of all the SlickStocks , I've never laughed as hard

You will never forget this one will you, Pat? Maybe lay in a 6 pack of that specific beer just for Alan next time.

Thanks you guys, everyone there makes the trip worthwhile......... now Pat, if you ever get round to telling that tale, I want you to do it on video, cause the first ten minutes of you laughing and trying to compose yourself are the best part of it! , I`m sure Steve will back me up on this

This thought is for Pat.

When you are driving those long rows of wheat, working the ground and planting, think of the relationship between wheat, wheat beer, what wheat beer could do if it foams too fast. (I know it wasn't wheat beer Alan was drinking, but you don't grow hops so work with me, here!) You will get to laughing and planting will go faster.

When you harvest, those long hours alone, driving down those long straight rows, and suddenly you come to a place where you must have been swerving all over the place when you planted. It then dawns on you that this is the place you thought about Alan drinking his beer and you lost control of the planter, thus the crooked rows.

You will laugh every time you think about it. You will laugh while driving the tractor this fall. You will laugh when you try to harvest the crooked rows next summer. You will laugh whenever you open a beer.

Pat, you need to thank Alan for your lifetime of visuals to create this laughter.

Alan, thanks for your part in all of this. May your sinuses live a long and prosperous life.

Believe me
A lot of thinking in those tractor & combine cabs goes on
I have built many vehicles in my head
(I never put a Chebby engine in a ford truck though )
My rows aren't real straight....
I don't think anybody knew about GPS , when these tractors were built
I only get 1 local station on the radio, in one of my tractors .....
Talk radio, which I enjoy mostly .....
Then Rush Limbaugh comes on
Even though I agree with him a lot....
There's only so much of him I can take
Off goes the radio... And the imagination starts up
Yes.... The Australian nasal blaster beer bottle scene
Has gave me a LOL moment....
Like I said.... Ya had to be there :burp:

After reading about this event I am truly disappointed I wasn't there to see it.
Kind of like George Carlin said, ''Class Clown would always save his best stuff for lunch
time when you were drinking your milk, and he'd try to make your milk come out your nose!''
Must have been something like that and unfortunately for me I missed it. TR

It was a one man audience ......
I had a
front row seat
I also had nothing to do with it
It was like watching somebody running & then falling down
Funnier though .... LOTS funnier

Pat, I`m pretty sure Steve saw it and maybe one other, maybe Rob!, I still think the funniest part was you trying to tell the story of what happened
and composing yourself before telling the tail, so as not to end up doing it yourself............. :barf:

it's not always the story, but the teller that makes the difference.

I saw you choose the beer, question it's quality based on the name, open it and start to drink as I looked away. I didn't see the initial blast off, I looked back over when your head was drooping and your whole face was draining out on the ground. Then I heard/saw Pat almost dying...laughing. I then figured out what was happening.

Pat can tell a good story, this one had to tell itself since he can't make it thru without loosing control himself.
