Iso my brothers old truck

Hey there. I am trying to track down a 66 f100 my brother had in the mid 90's. It was a black shortbed, v8 power and three on the tree. My brother was killed in 2000 and I am trying to see if anyone may have some info or know where his truck may be now. Unfortunately I don't have the vin. I reached out to his wife at the time to see if she had anything with the vin. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Would help to know what State and town he lived in at the time he got rid of the truck. Any other info would be helpful also, such as how it was sold ( Locally , Evilbay, craigslist, etc.) Lots of black trucks out there.

Thanks Rich. It was traded at a local dealership best I can remember. In Berlin MD at the time. I did get the vin and will make a request to the Maryland mva. Thanks again.

Does anyone know or could provide info on how the Maryland mva works regarding public records laws? Will they give me current owners info? Thanks in advance
