Slick 60's

I am putting my steering back on and on the back side of the wheel is the piece that cancels the turn signals after you turn them on ..My question is what position does it go on ie at 3,6 ,12 its the little spring metal piece on the back of the wheel ok thks

Should be dead left facing the wheel if I remember. if that does not get it done do 180*
