Calling all Slick's in the PNW; anyone headed to Beaches at PIR in June?
Copied from the PIR website (http://portlandraceway.com/?/events/upc ... s/cruisein):
"Beaches Cruise-in (Begins June 3rd): Celebrating its 20th year! Pre-1974 cars and trucks, Corvettes, Vipers, motorcycles and exotics are welcome on the show field. Free parking outside the gates for everyone else, and two shuttles run throughout the evening if you don't want to make the short walk in. $9.00 spectator admission. $5.00 per car up to two persons for pre-1974 cars. $5.00 for motorcycles."
I'll be at most of these this summer with my '66 and was looking to meet up with any other local Slick drivers that might also be going; always fun meeting and talking with other F100/250, etc owners.
My lady and I (who drives a '62 Willy's Wagon) went to several last year and had a great time. Live bands, beer garden, food, drag races and over 1000 cars every Wednesday makes for a fun date night.
Hope to see you there!

Sounds like a good idea. Need to finish up some tailgate issues first.

I try to make it at least a couple times a year. Nice location and always plenty to look at.
