Yes but it no big deal. I just used a 3 inch 90*shelf bracket and drilled two holes to mount it.
There is some futzing to do but I love doing things like that.

I mounted mine behind the instrument panel and it works off of the bump stop bar. No bracket needed.

So I can't get gas out of the tank.... How does one get to the fuel pick up inside the tank?
