Finally had a little break in the heat today. Took the drive shaft of for a new slip joint(352,C.O.M.) and took the carb off for a rebuild. Still have one or two good carb men in the Corpus Christi area. The best one for years was a lady but she retired. I am getting ready for the Hot Rod Riot car show in Victoria, Texas on September 26. Thanks, Lyman.

Lyman is your carb a stock 2 barrel? If so they are easy to rebuild.
Done several over the years and each time was no big deal.
Worse problem I ever had was an accelerator pump housing had
gotten warped from being tightened down too tight and had to file the
surface flat again. Worked fine after that. TR

Gary, every carb i have ever worked on had to be thrown away. I better leave it to the pros. Anthony, a little hole in the wall drive shaft shop in Corpus Christi, Texas called Alamo Drive Shaft. They do lots of industrial and oil field work. He say's he probably has it in stock, if not two days to get one shipped. Thanks, Lyman.

New slip joint, 2 new u-joints, and balanced for $175. That is very cheap in these parts.
