Saw one on a shelf localy, it would look good adapted to a slick. What year did they come out?

Thanks, I'll take a look at it next time I am over there and compare it to the round truck cluster I have. Grown out of it for the most part BUT when the F100 is back in action would be cool to see a number instead of the needle bouncing against the stop.

Jim,
Most know what were talking about but for the hand full that don't here are some photos. The second shows the needle all the way around against the stop. My original and this one are both 65 clusters and both stoped here.

Chris, the speedo is pretty easy, albeit a little pricey! What I want to know is how you got that fuel gauge to wrap all the way around! BTW, you should know better than to wrap a cold engine that high!

Taking things a little off subject here! Years ago, I had an early production Mark VII. I had purchased a used Vette in the interest of economy. I had taken my youngest son for a ride in the Vette. As the electronic speedometer climbed into the triple digits, my son looks over and remarks, "this one doesn't stop at 85 like the Mark does"! BUSTED! Kinda explains why my Michelins were showing serious scrub wear, as well as explaining the garage "sweating" I was concerned about after coming home and finding a wet outline of the Mark on the garage floor!

Yep. Crank it, floor it, dump the clutch. Only way to do them.

First picture is the one I saw locally, it's a 69/70. Second picture is 65/66.

I do not want to go anywhere close to 140 in my 66 and the way it came from the factory it would not have came close,I might be able to get it almost the way there with the 460 and 2.75 gears but I do not think I will try.

Yeah. More like a novelty addition these days. I was 19 and ran 3.70 gears and new Cooper Cobra tires the one time the F100 had enough power to do 6200 rpm for 10 miles it ran the bearings too dry. The steering was a little loose also.
