Now that I have the heater working better the present low speed is a little too high so I was wondering if there is a way to convert it to a 3 speed so I can slow that heater motor down a little.

you can get a multi speed switch from a later truck, they are not the same as the slicks but the motor is no different.
the wires just go thru the rheostat so it would be a simple conversion
bump or dentside switch would work

Does anyone know if the bronco and econoline vans from the 60s used a similar made switch and have more then a 2 speed blower motor.

pretty sure the 68 trucks were the first ones to have more than 2 speeds
this is when the change from pull switches happened
cars may have them earlier
i may have some old aftermarket heater switches that look similar to the slick type they have the rheostat on the switchi will see if i can find one and get a pic
