Blow up an engine timed contest? Okay, you've got my attention. Heard of burn-out contests but never one of these. Better not enter an old inline Ford 6 if you are attempting to blow one up. They will run indefinitely even without oil!

back in the late 1970s me and a friend attempted this, i had an old rusty maverick that the clutch had gone out on. we went out one day, started it up and removed the throttle spring. the old I6 ran for 15 minutes full bore open and did not puke. put the spring back on and sold the car for $100 a few days later.

Wife and I are planning on being there.
As for the Uni, not sure I trust it that far, not yet.
If I get the rear swapped, inner fenders in and a cooling fan in front of the radiator,
I'll call it a shake down cruse...
