Our SS 8 host, Gerry Allen is battling with his computer and
asked me to forward some information for Wednesday August 22
for all the folks that will be there early! He has put together a tour
of three places for the day. Pete and Jakes Hot Rod shop in
Peculiar, Missouri, an Auto Museum and a stop at LMC Trucks.
Should be a great day and if you need any parts from LMC
you could pick them up and save on the shipping. On getting
this information I may have to come up earlier than I had
planned to. Hate to miss out on this line up!
UPDATE: Gerry called today and said that the Wednesday tour
will be moved to Friday the 24th! That will give more folks an
opportunity to go with us to Pete and Jakes, the Muscle Car Museum
and LMC. More updates to come! Stay tuned!
He also told me about a guy that has 17 acres of old
cars and trucks we can go look at if anyone wants
any parts so bring your tools. Not sure if that would
be part of the tour or for another day. But sounds
good to me!
