duo spark 2 wireing

can't remember how the wires go on a ds2. only 2 wires that I remember but can't remember which wires to hook up to power.
also does an e core coil need a resister?

best I can tell you do away with the resister wire and run a full switched 12 volts to the coil and brain box. just gotta find a coil that dosent need a resister. mine must have needed one cause only made it about two miles and truck went dead.has ran for years useing the pink resister wire for power to the coil then noticed the resister wire was getting quite hot so I bypassed it and probably burnt the coil.

well after studying this diagram all I need is a coil with a built in resister I think. this is almost how I have it now
