Well.. If you ever want to meet the nicest, friendliest people in the world, you just need to attend a Slick Stock event. Lyn and I have attended 5 Slick Stocks, and sadly missed this years gathering, but our friends weren't going to let us miss out completely were you ! :).. A parcel arrived Monday and it has completely blown us away, and has given us a feel of what we missed at SS8, the T shirt is perfect , Gerry out did himself this time, some items I imagine that came from the lucky draw table, like a great hand towel from California, some Jellies or Jams as we call them. The grand kids really like the Cracker Barrel syrups, they even asked us to send more home next time we go to SS. the door plate... I could just see all our friends signing that and I'll have to find a good spot to hang it.Ha we almost let the kids have the Mango bottle till we noticed it said Vodka thew that was close :). the sweet bourbon glaze looks interesting, must find out the best way to use it.. I'll have to see if I can get some Bud lite to have with the Roasted Field Corn to do it justice... you wouldn't want a mouth full of those drinking Ezers beers !!!!.. We truely are blessed to have met Yáll ( :) ) and thank you from the bottom of our hearts and a special big Thanks to Colleen and Pat ( Bluey ) Weller for making sure it got to us ! We Love you all !

Slick Stock 8 in Kansas City this year was a Fantastic
Event and as it was my sixth one in a row, I absolutely would
not miss one if I could at all help it! Lots of great memories have
been made in the last ten years since my first SS in 2008 at the
Howard Johnson’s in KC! The people I have met through Slick 60s
are some of the best friends I have. Two years between Slick Stocks
is too long, but once you have attended one you won’t want to miss
the next one! I will continue to come to them as long as I am able to!
Sometimes life happens and denies us a chance to participate in
things we love to do and the people we want to see! I get that!
To those that missed this time just know that you all were missed!
Slick 60s is not just a club, it is a family and Slick Stock is a Family
Reunion with Trucks! Most who attend already know this, but if you
have never been to one, come to Marshalltown, Iowa in 2020 and
find out for yourself. You will meet a whole bunch of great friends
you never knew you had! TR

It was a challenge I will admit, did you do that off your own bat Pat?
I need to pay for the T-shirt at least, our son said that Cracker Barrel must have
some sugar in their syrups, he said it was worse than red cordial on the kids
they were carrying on like they were drunk !
Thanks again mate, I / we owe you and Colleen big time..

Gazza.. spot on mate !
