Can someone tell me if a bench seat out of a 65/66 Slick will fit in a 62 uni.

direct swap or some work involved... Oh and I'm asking for a friend

probably take just a little modifying Alan the 65-66 have a step up in the cab that the seat sits on and isn't the earlies a flat floor like a fridge? I have faith in your friend though..

Thanks Ant, but it is for a friend... Mr 8clt the Mountain goat, seems he has got he's hands on a import 62' uni

although that's strange, he said he needed a long box

Alan we have installed in 57-60 trucks by putting any seat from a 61-79 truck by just re-drilling 2 more holes, Now on 61-64 trucks we just bolted in any 65-72 truck seat with no mods, my wrecker has a seat from a 75 in her,, just beware that some of those seats has a bracket that I had to trim down to clear the gas tank so the back of the seat will move to access the gas tank and some has a bracket that does not move and to access the tank on those the seat has to go forward or remove tank, also Alan I have seen the 92-96 seats with the fold down in the middle in these trucks with some mods

I would say it would fit in there quite easily ... the seat is less than 6' feet long & even the shortbed is long enough , as it is 6.5' feet.. it should fit in there no problem ... probably a little work involved lifting it in there... one guy can do it , but a second person makes it a piece of cake ... hope this info helps out yer friend

Thanks Guys... I'll pass it on to John. sounds like he is importing a 62''and a 63' uni's and a F250 of unkown vintage to me..
