Unless the import laws have been changed all foreign made parts imported into the United States must be clearly stamped or labeled as such, even if it is assembled in the U.S. with foreign materials.
Your option is to report it to the U.S. customs or take the matter up with the trade commission.
I feel your pain, it's just not right

The USA, Taiwan is definitely a twist on the truth. The town changed their name to USA way back in the late 70's or early 80's so that they could make stuff and say it was made in USA without it being a lie. Scams us but is kind of ingenious from their perspective. I was told by an American conspiracy theorist that to be actually made in the United States it has to say either the United States of America or if abbreviated it needs to read made in the U.S.A. Take note of the dots between the letters.

Pat,, on the armrests used to get from Dearborn USA Made, then they sold to this company called Ecklers, first couple where OK from them, then they sent us some from another vendor and when you put the 2 next each other was night and day, cause made in India, on invoice showed USA and we had to threaten them to get our money back due to the way it was written on the invoice, finally did get back after weeks from Ecklers and since then we do carry armrests anymore for 61/66 trucks
