New Weller radiator repaired

Last week I drove down to Pat’s for a radiator he had in a F-600....we both stood there looking at it and agreed,”Yeah that’s a good’un for sure...”......Next day I noticed the overflow tube was missing
Pulled a tube from another rad. Cleaned up the end and sanded up a shine..
Made for a nice slip together fit.....proceeded to treat it like sweating copper water pipe together.Kept the flame about two inches from the joint...solder got sucked in and sealed
Next I put the cap on and turned the radiator upside down, filled that upper part with water an hour later not a drop leaked out.....that was a simple fix and made my day.....There used to be radiator shops all over this city(K.C.) and now nobody has a clue about repairs.....it’s all about checking the computer
Also got the metal fan shroud, been working it over with a wire wheel then treating to some Rust -oleum Rust Reformer
