Autolite 1100 constant maintenance

Just wondered what everyone else is running. I've got an autolite 1100/Ford carb on a couple of my straight 6s and I keep having to replace the accelerator pump diaphragm every year. Does someone offer an ethanol resistant pump diaphragm that will last a little longer (the blue/green one)?.... Neoprene or viton I think is the word I'm looking for.? I replaced my GM's quadrajet accel.pump and needle and it's been working great for 2 years now. Would like to do the same with the autolite if someone knows who carries them.

Edit: I'm thinking a Holley 135-10 diaphragm is VERY similar and should work with a slight modification or maybe bolt right on.

Is the diaphragm itself getting a hole in it or does it just start leaking? Sometimes the metal cover can get slightly warped from over tightening which will allow it to leak pre maturely.

FWIW I ran a rebuild kit from Mike’s Carburetors and had zero issues with leaking or deterioration. I think they sell individual parts on their website.

If you are googling stuff the word is vitron. I have used them in hydraulic situations

The diaphragm hardens and cracks. Spider web cracking across the whole thing. I've been using a Hygrade pump that comes in the kit from a local parts store, I'll have to try the one you suggested from online. I might be a little paranoid but I really don't like random fuel leaks in the engine bay since a cracked fitting almost burned my 57 Chevy to the ground when it sprayed gas onto the coil last year.

Thanks, couldn't remember but that's probably what I got for the Q-jet.
