was going to start another topic but will just say my peace here, OH Yes thanks to all non-living and living Veterans and future ones throughout the world
BUT
What gets under my skin today of all days today Dec. 7th is not one mention on the internet pages or on TV about Pearl Harbor, When I was a kid in school I was like the rest in the classes drilled and the importance of what Dec. 7th meant to the country and NOW, nothing I have seen and if it was mention maybe a minute, Just what the heck is going on in this country
NOW
Last night on NEWSMAX A 2 hour documentary hosted by Tom Seleck was on with several people from that day with real footage etc...
Bottom line a real part of heart has been ripped today because of this,, I will leave it on my opinion on this subject
And again Thanks to the Vets

Seems like maybe the fewer WW2 vets that are left the less coverage the news feels it needs to expend. I truly hope I'm wrong but...........

Tom, we still do in the service. We flew our flags at half mast.
I live in the Norfolk area which is a huge military presence with army, navy, CG, marines, AF and nasa here. (Does space force actually exist? Anyway, the local news did a special and the radio station I listen to did a “back in the day on this day” for Dec 7.

April that's great did by military bases and flag half mast,, but around here nothing except what I found on NEWMAX, nothing I seen on the webpages, if it was someplace inland might have been for a minute but even then it most likely killed them to say that especially so many died that day,, I have not figured out on this past year they did D-Day even on ABC With going overseas with special Vets etc. anyway April glad you still at it and few others here to remember our Vets..
