Fenton 223 manifold question

I finally found a Fenton split manifold for a 223 but it has a hole internally between #3 and #4. It is not external and will not leak but will the internal leak cause any issues? I dont think it will but wanted to get some opinions on it.

im assuming intake manifold....
and by "split" ... you mean a 2 carb setup
the. hole is to probably "balance out" the vacuum
im guessing on this mostly

Sorry. It's the split exhaust manifold. It looks almost like the hole is supposed to be there but seems odd to me why it would. I would post pics if I could figure out how.

possibly to heat up the intake ?

Yes. Just like that one. I actually think the hole is there on purpose. I think you are right about heat exchanger for the intake.i always thought it was just radiant but maybe that's not the caes.I have the matching intake,valve cover,and lifter cover. All Fenton. I cant wait to get them on my 223.
